美满电子科技(Marvell)在中国的总部位于上海张江科技园,并在北京、合肥和深圳设有业务运营。近年来,Marvell在华业务发展迅速,为了帮助中国高科技产业的自主创新和快速发展,Marvell公司投入重金在上海成立强大的研发队伍,与中国移动结成了深度的战略合作伙伴关系,并与产业链的合作伙伴和主要的手机厂商紧密合作,投入到了TD-SCDMA产业链中最核心、最具难度的手机芯片研发。2008年,Marvell率先成为中国移动OMS计划中核心的芯片设计合作伙伴,且八款首批发布的Ophone手机中有七款采用了Marvell的应用处理器芯片方案,包括联想、戴尔、飞利浦、海信、多普达和LG。2009年9月,Marvell位于上海的研发中心推出了支持中国移动Ophone平台的第一款TD-SCDMA 单芯片解决方案PXA920,此方案将成为支持中国移动Ophone TD智能手机的主要解决方案之一,并将被领先的国内外手机厂商采用。
